The Middle Years Programme

The International Baccalaurate Middle Years Programme(IB/MYP) is a five-year course designed to meet the educational requirements, as well as the students' individual needs, in an international environment. The programme is provided for students aged between 11 and 17 years, MYP1-5. The flexibility of the programme encourages a healthy and invigorating atmosphere for students.

The educational aim of the Middle Years Programme is to awaken the intelligence of the student and teach them to relate the content of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. By emphasizing the dynamic combination of knowledge, skills, experience and critical thinking, we hope to promote academic, coupled with active and responsible citizenship.

The students' curriculim will include Language A (English), Language B (Danish), Science , the Arts, Mathematics, Technology, Humanities and Physical Education.

The Areas of Interaction are the context through which subject content is taught. This provides an integrated, holistic education that both challenges and prepares the student to become a life-long learner.
